Search dogs called in by the family and friends of Nancy Lyons will be back in the fields of northern Rush County the weekend of June 21, 2002, to seek any additional traces leading to her whereabouts. The family had a couple of dogs in the field and more coming from Ohio. "We were out for about five hours," Julie Jones of the Maine Search and Rescue Dogs team said on Friday, June 21, 2002.

Charles Jones of the Project Safe Child is a national search organization that helps locate lost people using volunteers and the Internet. Charles Jones is coordinating the private canine effort to find Nancy Lyons.

Charley Skaggs of the Paducah-McCracken County, Ky search team and his search dog Bucky, check along CR 800N near the Blue River for any signs of Nancy Lyons.
